Sorrento

Where the blue of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the green of the Lattari Mountains meet, there lies Sorrento, one of the most fascinating Mediterranean panoramas, a memorable place with unmistakable charm and a predominantly mild climate.
Among the most sought-after tourist destinations in Southern Italy, situated on a plateau overlooking the sea, it is a city rich in tradition, culinary art, culture, social events and natural beauty.
Strolling, unhurriedly, through the shopping streets and the quaint old town, with its narrow streets rich in history and craftsmanship, would be the best way to breathe in and enjoy it. It is the colors and the atmosphere that hover among the streets and the food and wine culture that in fact represent a must that distinguishes the city and makes it a true paradise for lovers of culture, good living and good food.
In the main square sits the imposing Romanesque-style Cathedral while along the cardinal street you can reach the remains of the ancient walls of Sorrento, of Roman origin. But you cannot overlook the Church and Cloister of St. Francis composed of tufa columns and arches and a garden full of colorful trees and flowers that, in warmer seasons, sparkle with sunlight. Another feather in the cap is the Salve D'Esposito Municipal Villa, which offers a stunning lookout over the Gulf of Naples and the Coast.

However, Sorrento is also a city that resounds with life and events, such as the Giornate del Cinema, an event that welcomes numerous artists from all over the world, or the summer concerts in the piazza, and not least the traditional events of the Christmas season.
The city is the gateway to the world's best-known seaside resorts and archaeological sites, such as Pompeii and Herculaneum, Positano, Amalfi, Ravello and the city of Sorrento itself, which offers facilities on sandy beach or rocky surface.
Marina Grande, a shoreline that hosts a characteristic small port, the beach reserved for bathers and numerous bars and restaurants for refreshments, dominates the scene, offering a totally exclusive and special location, a characteristic and privileged place, also and inextricably linked to the name of the famous Sofia Loren, who filmed scenes from the film "Bread Love and..."
Sorrento is a rare pearl in a shimmering blue sea, made to be visited and experienced, appreciated and loved, left but by virtue of an unchanged promise...that of returning, as indeed the famous song by Ernesto De Curtis goes.

Capri

Famous all over the world for the blue sea that surrounds it, the intense scent of nature and the fruits that grow from its land, wonderful scenery, rich in glimpses of the sea and vegetation, and an amazing sea, Capri, the "pearl of the Mediterranean," remains a unique island.
Made up of two municipalities, Capri and Anacapri, the upper and lower parts respectively, it is provided with a port area named Marina Grande, with colorful dwellings, in typical island style, that offer visitors an enchanting and exclusive spectacle.
With a long past of dominations behind it , the island owes its rebirth to Romanticism. In fact, considered a fundamental stop on the journey of young aristocrats who wished to enrich their culture and complete their education, it saw a large number of intellectuals land here, coming from all parts of Europe, captivated by nature and the great beauty of the place, soon becoming a major political-literary center. Prominent among the personalities who lived and frequented the island were Maxim Gorky and Vladimir Lenin, Curzio Malaparte, Pablo Neruda and Thomas Mann, to give just a few examples from a long list.
Natural and evocative set, it has also been the destination, over the years, of many of the most renowned filmmakers.

In addition to historic sites and beautiful alleyways in which to experience the islanders' passions and the products of this magical place, Capri offers attractive beaches, some reachable only by boat.
Not to be missed, for those arriving on this island, is the tour under the Faraglioni, the Marcellino and the Monacone, which stretch out from the waters, dry and gigantic, to draw a breathtaking and unforgettable panorama, also known for being the unique habitat of the famous blue lizard, and the excursion to the Grotta Azzurra, a unique natural spectacle in the world, where a particular play of light and reflections makes the water an unmistakable electric blue.
Among the festivities celebrated on the island are the feast of Capri's patron saint, San Costanzo, on May 14, and that of Anacapri's patron saint, dedicated to St. Anthony, on June 13, when the streets come alive with an unusual vitality made up of processions, colors, music and merry-go-rounds.
